The RPA has always been about players
supporting players, but our role in
representing the collective voice of
members has never been more important.
Professional rugby continues to evolve,
bringing new opportunities alongside new
challenges. Whether it’s player welfare, career
development, training practices or the future
direction of the game, it’s essential that
players have an independent voice helping
to shape the decisions that affect them.
Serving as Chair of the Men’s Rugby Board
has reinforced to me just how valuable that
player voice can be. The experiences, opinions
and ideas shared by players across the
league directly influence the work the RPA
undertakes on behalf of its members, ensuring
our priorities remain focused on the issues
that matter most.
The progress highlighted throughout this
report demonstrates what can be achieved
when players are listened to and their voices
are represented. I’m proud of what we’ve
accomplished together this season, and
excited about the opportunities we have
to continue strengthening support for players
in the years ahead.
