MEET YOUR MOUNTAIN
Supporting retired players is not only about responding
to challenges, but also about creating opportunities to
reconnect, grow and thrive beyond the game.
Meet Your Mountain embodies this approach. In October
2025, six teams of retired rugby legends descended
on Chamonix for two epic days of mountain climbing
and endurance.
Each team went head-to-head, battling to reach the
summit, raise the most funds and claim victory on the
leaderboard. Together, they raised over £47,000, including
Gift Aid, supporting seven club foundations across the
leagues and Restart.
With Meet Your Mountain returning in October 2026,
the event is set to be bigger and better, creating more
opportunities for former players to stay connected,
challenge themselves and give back to the game they love.
